Advanced Environmental Monitoring & Control
|
|
Advanced Environmental Monitoring and Control (AEMC) conducts research and technology development to enable efficient monitoring and control of future astronaut crew habitable environments. Products of this work include hardware and software technologies that measure air, water, and food quality and environmental parameters, along with advanced control technologies for life support systems. Research and technology efforts in this area focus on developing efficient technologies to provide environmental information about habitat zone and life support system operations, reliable and efficient control algorithms and architectures for habitat life support systems, and the integration of environmental monitoring and control.
